When we create your garden design plan, we also provide you with some initial detailing documents that will help the landscaper layout and build what we have designed for you, but these documents are only a first level of detail; very useful indeed, but they don’t ‘cover’ everything by any means.
Design detailing documents are the next level. These are the documents that look at the details of your garden design in depth, and as such the work involved in them can’t be estimated until your outline plan has been completed.
Design detailing work may include, but isn't limited to
planting plans, construction drawings (example shown right), lighting plans, irrigation plans and more. The complexity of your outline plan and the challenges of your site will have a bearing on the level of detailing required, as will your own needs - for instance most garden design clients opt for planting plans for their new garden too.
